Soldier kills 12 others at Ft. Hood - 31 more hurt...WTF?

Please don't let this post get political, racial, etc. I just want to vent my frustration as to why a human being, an american soldier, would turn onto his fellow peers as they got ready for deployment.

Very sad day for all of us.
 
Depending on what his training was and any past deployments, his mental state could have been way off center. I have seen friends that could not handle the jobs they had to do and they lost it over something stupid. The military world/mind is not like a civilian would think. It takes training to make the military good and it takes training to help forget......

It is a very sad day. My prayers to all our military and families. I'll keep the rest of my thoughts to myself until I see more information. God bless 'em all.
 
Shooter is said to be alive. If some of the *stuff* being reported is true, it's gonna be another WakeTFUp call. Some of the info is not looking good.

I just heard some things on CNN rather upsetting. God help those victims.
 
Six years as a phsyciatist at Walter Reed, then news of his deployment. I think that's enough to make anyone crack, after seeing the aftermath of war. And some of his past is shaky. I'll try not to assume exactly what his motive is until more rumors are debunked.
