Some pretty cool IRS install pictures

First impression is just wow. Second one is damn I would have never thought to flip the car upside down to install the IRS. But from everything that I have read and heard about an IRS on a Mustang is not such a great thing, good thing maybe, but not great. I have seen adds from late model Cobra owners wanting to swap out their IRS for a solid axle. Something to do with the wheel hop issue. But I would love to see some skid pad numbers on it when it is up and running. One other thing is the rear wheels do seem a little wide. But overall the work is very impressive. fd

I agree with forddude....WOW. That's impressive work.

It looks like that he'll need to do some flaring on those rear fender wells.

If it were me I'd be cleaning up all of those welds, but it appears he's just covering them up with seam sealer. Impressive build thus far though!

Impressive work. IRS is a very good thing , better then a straight axle but IMO he ruined the car by those bracing in the trunk.
No go for me .
