Someone broke into my Mustang

They got in is more correct, I must of left it unlocked and someone took my fuzzy dice that were on the mirror. They were a Christmas gift. I do not keep stuff in the car so that is all they took.

Today I am bummed.

That sucks but at least you didn't lose more or your car get damaged. Sounds like a stupid kid act of convenience.

Sorry to hear that John. I know when I experienced that many years ago it wasn't so much what was taken, it was more the feeling of being violated. In my case they unlocked my Mustang and stole a cheap small plastic cooler with a bottle of Jack Damiles inside. Joke was on them though..the bottle was empty!

That always sucks.

Years ago (about '91 maybe) someone broke into my truck when it was parked on the drive way.

They stole my radar detector and a box of tapes I had behind the seat.

I wasn't rebuying all those types so that was about the time I got my first CD player since I had been putting it off for a while.

I know what you mean. Years ago when I was going to Jr. College my coupe was broken into. My best friend went to Oz courteous of the USAF. He got me a piece of sheepskin that I used as a seat cover. Someone wanted it and broke into my Mustang to get it. Oh yea they broke in using my antenna that they broke off. Always felt like someone ripped my arm off and beat me to death with it. :bomb

Been there done that. Twice. Not many things I hate more than thieves.

Back a few years ago, my 240sx wad broken into, and the stereo stolen. Sombitches at least had the courtesy to reassemble the dash and lock the doors after they boosted all my stuff. Three cars were hit that night, and amazingly no one saw a thing...sarc

Was it at the store or at your house John? I almost never locked my car when I went to the grocery and left the windows down, same as you nothing to take. Most times I'd come out and there were 2 or more guys walking around the car anyway.

I'll probably put a pager alarm on my car like I had on a previous Supra, it came in very handy one night. Pager went off when I was at a friends house 2 houses down from my parents where I parked. I ran down the street to find two legs dangling from my broken window. He got a free trip to the hospital, then jail. It was well worth the $100 I had to pay to replace the window...
To me knowing when someone is in your car is priceless.

That's sucks. People are jerks. I always leave my top down on my car. I have nothing worth stealing in it and would rather not take the chance of someone busting the window or cutting my top to get in.

Back in the 90s I had my fox body vert parked on the street outside my house unlocked. Some little idiot climbed in and emptied my glove box onto the floor. They stole my broken radar detector, but left my $300 sunglasses.
