What's that stuff scheduled for Saturday. I have no idea what it is nor why it's happening here.

Same here. possible snow in Modesto CA. BTW, what is this 'snow' the weather man speaks of?

We've had ice since the sun came up and about an hour ago it changed over to snow. Just went out to get the mail and it's slicker than snot out there.
 
The next 72 Hours for Rome, NY..

Tonight: Scattered snow showers with snow becoming steadier and heavier late. Low near 30F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 80%. 1 to 2 inches of snow expected.

Tomorrow :Snowy and windy. Snow will become heavy at times during the afternoon. Temps nearly steady around 30. Winds NNE at 20 to 30 mph. 6 to 10 inches of snow expected. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

Saturday: Windy with on and off snow showers during the evening. Low 7F. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Snow accumulations less than one inch. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph early.
 
As long as the backwoods knuckle draggers don't come with the swap.

Before everyone gets too excited, pine, oak, and juniper pollen is in full bloom.
 
Just stopped in Valencia. I have never seen this much snow going through Tejon Pass.

Sometime around 73 or 74 we stopped at Tejon Pass and our daughters saw their first snow. Must have been around 10 inches on the ground. they couldn't wait to get back into the car. I have pictures but 'm not going to dig them out. :roll
