Speaking of the July 4th holiday....

Anything exciting happen or was it your typical 4th?

Aside from all of the other bullshit I have going on we managed to throw one hell of a party at our place. The first guests (the guys who start drinking at dawn) showed up around 2PM and we played horseshoes, pool, and had a mild burnout exhibition. As evening approached I looked around and realized that we had 30+ people meandering around. We lit a fire in the fire pit and sat around drinking most of the evening. Three different quarts of shine were being passed around with the apple flavored being my favorite. There was a cherry blend that the girls liked and my brother brought over a jug that tasted as if it were made the day before (read harsh).

While sitting around the fire I noticed a girl sitting across from me that I didn't recognize. She had on a low cut top that showed a tattoo on her chest. I asked her about it and we all started showing/discussing tat's. She went on to tell us about her "body art" and lifted up the side of her shirt to reveal a landscape type tattoo of a dragon that she said extended from her knee up to the back of her neck. It was a work in progress and I couldn't really get a good view of it from just the side of her shirt lifting up.

Later that night..... somewhere around 2AM... we were all pretty much hammered. Some people had left, but others had come in to take their place. The party was still going strong. So I walk into the garage and there's this tattoo girl again and she's looking at the work done on my son Joe's back. Joe has been flying out to LA every couple of years to lay on a table for a week while some well known kakua style (hollow whale bones, blocks of wood, etc. NO metal/guns/modern instruments.... video example seen here: Polynesian Tattooing on Miami Ink - Part 2/2 ) tattoo artist works on Joe's back. So Joe is standing there with his shirt off and this girl who we all just met drops her pants to her ankles and pulls her shirt off. She's standing in the middle of my garage in nothing but a thong and bra with a bunch of guys (Oddly, I don't remember any other girls being there at the time) staring at her "artwork". I'm not a big fan of large full body tattoo's, but the work she had done did look nice. She was kind enough to turn slowly around so we could all see her dragon from different angles.

An hour goes by and I stumble back into the garage because I hear Gabby's Harley revving. Gabby has aftermarket Python exhaust pipes without baffles and her bike at idle is annoyingly loud, nevermind at 3000 RPM. Gabby is laughing her ass off as tattoo girl.... who I later find out is wearing a clit ring... is pleasuring herself on the revving/vibrating motorcycle.

All in all it was a good 4th/Party. The last of the drunkards got escorted home around 4:45 and there were no casualties left on the property when I awoke at noon on Monday.

I knew this was coming, but I can't help you. I don't remember anyone walking around with a camera, but I guarantee you it wasn't me. If any surface I'll get them on here.

Holy shit Dave, that's a helluva party :10

and to think, I sat around and watched it pour cats and dogs for 3 f'n days.

That is exactly how my 4th went down as well ( somewhere around 4:00a.m. in a really deep REM) Congrat's for being awake for yours Dave. :vic

As I live relatively close to New Bern, and I'm not a big drinker, I volunteer to take pictures of similar events, at Dave's parties...

I'll add you to the invite list for the next one. You shouldn't have to wait too long. Joe's heading back to Iraq with KBR on the 18th. We plan on throwing him a send-off party on Saturday the 17th.

Look y'all, I've been around Dave, liquor and cameras before, and it's a crap shoot. At a certain point in time, Dave can't even see, let alone work a camera. So don't be sending him anything technological to be used at a function where alcohol is present. Send it to Gabby, you'll have much better luck. :lol :lol :lol

Good God... did nobody have a cell phone!!!!!
Sorry, I'm late to this one. Sounds like it was a sweet party.
