The wheels I ordered in April finally showed up today.

When I ordered the wheels everyone had tires in stock. Now, no one in town has the tires I want.

I ordered (4) - 15"x7" w/ 4.25" bs

The tires I am looking for are BF Goodrich Radial TA 225/60/15 for all 4 corners. I'll post an update when I finally find some tires.

I was thinking of having them done in argent to match the back panel. I want to see them on the car the way they are first.

make sure you get them balanced using the lugs.

Why not keep them black to match the tires? Black is always classy (IMO) and never looks like a forced match.

I bought a set of BFG radial T/A's last week for a customer. They were 205/60/15's but they had to be shipped in from another state. It's not as easy to get those tires as it used to be.

It took about a week to get the tires. They had to be shipped from out of state. I ordered them from a small shop that a friend recommended $138.00 /ea mounted and balanced. The shop was in Oregon so, no sales tax. The shop owner said that he had someone begging him to sell the tires that he found for me and was willing to pay a higher price.

Apparently these tires are getting hard to come by.

Americas Tire here in town says that is a normal stock tire for them and had the best local price on the tires but, they were on back order. They quoted me $115/ea + $16.00 mount and balance + sales tax and said that they would get them when they get them.

I did check out the tire rack site and they showed that they had them in stock and had a decent price but, I think I ended up doing okay since I did not have to pay shipping charges and bought from a local dealer.
