Sports sprint needs new sound

What can I do to make my 67 sports sprint sound cool and not like someone farting in a tin can? I want it to sound quite but still cool :puke

Is it a straight six? If so, there are some Borla$ out there that can made it sound GOOOD. TheDude on VMF has posted some good sound clips of his header/splitter/Borla combo. :craz

For a V8, the sky's the limit. Turbo mufflers and a crossover pipe are my personal favorite and are fairly cheap.

i hope you can learn from my error.....i had dumped spintech mufflers...just before the axle and the dumps were clocked at 5 on the pass side and 7 on the drivers side. with no interior....man, that was loud, rattley and droney....i just added tailpipes to the rear and it's night and day.

so, i don't know what kind of motor you have, but i've heard some nice mellow magnaflows and turbos. my system is 2.5" & x-piped.....low rumble at idle, but really comes alive when you stomp on it.

The car is a sports sprint (AKA 6 cylinder) not a V8 (too bad for me). I plan to keep the 6 but would like a cool sound if one can be found. I have a Walker muffler from Auto Zone, I think I paid $29 for it. Yes you get what you pay for, it sound like crap. At certin RPM's it does sound like someone farting in a tin can. Plan to keep the car as stock as I can, I guess I want a stock sound but what is that?

Almost no sound at all. Very quiet, in fact.
