Speaking of spring.
Yesterday was the begin of spring but when I got up yesterday morning , everything was covered by a thin layer of snow.
The last few months , wind changed from its usable direction.
Normally we got wind from the west (from the atlantic ) but the last few months it came from the east. (Russia !!!)
 
right now its a balmy 80 degrees. spring is not just here, its moving on into summer:p:p
 
We sometimes have all four seasons in one day here. Been alternating between spring and winter lately.
 
Sun is shining here in Sioux Falls. I am going to plant my second batch of vegetables tomorrow. More tomatoes, bush beans and adding basil. Growing them in my hotel room for now, waiting for escrow to close on my new property.

I am sure the maids are thinking you are a crazy ex-Californian! Don't let them take your basil for recreational use.
 
ha. They seem to be leaving it alone.... I am going to have to go get some larger pots for the bush beans. the small containers I have them in seem to be too small. Off to get some potting soil and larger pots for them.
By the way, the staff here are extremely friendly and nice. I like the place, but being here since January is running out of enjoyment.
