Finished my workbench. There is a panel in the corner that I can take out to install routers or other tools.

Picked up a killer deal on a set of impact sockets with foam tray. Having to do a bit of tool box reorganization.
I think I have a socket problem, not all are pictured.
I have another full 1/4” drive set and 2 sets of deep impact
Does anyone ever get rid of sockets or just put the extras out of sight?

A nice workbench with a nice view. Thats really sharp.
I try to never get rid of tools unless they break. There may be a time when you need to use a less orthodox method to remove that stubborn nut/bolt. You don't want to lose your good sockets.

I only keep 2 each of the 6 point and 1 of the 12 point.
Did you mention a socket problem/addiction? Been suffering with that for years. Here is my main toolbox socket drawer. Other drawer is stuffed with the impact variety, another is brimming with extensions of all sizes and lengths along with a cased set of just about any size and length Allen or Torx socket one could need. You never know right? I also have a complete set (std & metric 6pt/12 pt) in the basement shop room and a basic set I carry in the car. Then there is the other older box with lord knows how many I've collected over the years. And I do use the various collections all the time. Never too many!
Hoserplay: you definitely have a problem.

I have been building up my set of 3/4" drive sockets. Use them on the tractors and mowers.

Had an email from Home Depot on some Milwaukee tools on a 12 hours sale and I couldn’t pass it up . I think most of my air impacts will be not getting much use .

After my farm chores Saturday, I had time to do some more tool organization.
I had to install some new gates and make a wider entry into one of the pastures. Have some heavy machinery coming in to do some land clearing. Just need the county to come and install a longer culvert.

Just put them in this summer. So far I like them, easy to keep clean with a quick sweep and swiffer job.

After 6 months, finally had time to finish my cleat wall.
Ramping up to get serious in the garage led to me deciding to make some changes. Cleaning out and getting better organized so my garage time isn't all wasted just trying to make room to work out there every weekend.
It all started when for reasons I can't remember I stumbled upon a big "flash" sale at HomeDepot on some Husky brand cabinets. They matched my tool chest and bench/chest so I bit. From there it all did what it always does. When the dust settled I ended up with 4 upper cabinets, a steel "charging station" unit, air hose and electrical reels and a custom built filler shelf mounted between the top of my bench backboard and the bottom of the cabinets. It houses 14 little (4.25" w x 3" h x 5.5" d) plastic Akro-Mills parts bins. They are the perfect size for all those various 2" dia surfacing discs, flap and cut-off wheels among other consumable stuff I always need on hand.
I'm on the hunt now for a metal hardware drawer cabinet to go under the charging station. Also will get a tool cart that matches the other tool chests to fill in the other half of the void where that lonely tire sits in the pic.
