sticky brake pedal

ok just fired the bullitt car up for the first time and pressed the brake pedal it sticks to the floor takes its time coming up,brakes are power front discs everything on car is new checked the vac connection to servo nice and tight no vac leaks etc any ideas?

I'd replace the check valve at the booster. Cheap diagnostic.

Check for binding of the pushrod. Also, test the brake pedal while detached from the pushrod to ensure you don't have the pedal mounting bolt too tight. You want it to move up and down freely. I made the mistake of tightening the pedal bolt on the hanger too much, and the pedal wouldn't return back to normal.
