stock fuel pressure at 14lbs psi?

My fuel pressure gauge at the carb dual feed inlet is now reading 14lbs psi, I know the norm should be approx 6-7 and it was reading that the last time I noticed, perhaps a few months ago.

The filter is integrated into the dual feed line (the gauge takes its reading from a port on the filter housing) and is a bit of a PITA to access. Is it likely just a clogged filter or is the fuel pump on its way out. The pump is likely original, 122k miles.

Check the pressure with fuel pressure gauge. I've used the one from harbor freight and it was pretty accurate. If it was that high the carb would be flooding.
