So I originally was going to always use 1 type of wheel. Then when I went to order it looked like they were out of stock so I started looking at other types of wheels.
Now the originals that I liked are back in stock but I am stuck now because I had found another wheel that I liked.
These are the only choices (I'm looking at you Randy and Craig)
Both wheels are similar quality and essentially the same price at about $650 for the set. I have the MB wheels in all chrome on my 68 and they have worn well. The Boss wheels have a slight size advantage.
In MB I would be buying
17x8 4.5bs (they are out of stock on the 4.75 at this time but these would fit)
17x9.5 5.5bs
In the Boss I would be buying
17x8 4.5bs
18x9.5 5bs (I've kinda warmed to the idea of plus sizing in the rear and with this choice I can put a 26.5 inch tall tire on the rear)
Both wheels are grey centered (slightly different colors...the MB are a little darker) and both have machine lips for the dish, they look very similar with the difference mainly being chiseled looking spokes versus smoothed out, I think the MB has a slightly thicker edge lip, and screw on center cap versus a push on.
