Anyone running a Summit branded carb here? Looking for opinions and feedback on them.

carbs are for old guys that can't figure out EFI! Oh wait, that probably isn't the type of feedback you were looking for.

I have read that they are made by Holley, and have good reviews. I would consider one if I were to go back to the dark ages

The one I had worked great right out of the box and for $235 ( going price back then ) , it couldn't be beat. I sold the car that had it. I did a lot of research and they had good reviews. A couple of forum members have them and they like 'em.

I will buy another one, next time I need to prove how old I am.

Seeing as how I think I fall into that old guy category these days I think I'm going to pick one up. REALLY want to dust off the old project and make it run this year. Hell, I might even try to get to the point it can be driven!

Maybe next season's engine will be the FI beast I had always planned.

I have the Summit carb on my 289. The car started right up after bolting the carb on and priming the bowls with gas. I have had zero issues with it as well.

Give some feedback after installing. I've been considering one for my 69 to replace the Autolite 4300. Wait, your car probably wont be going anywhere...... :ns

Sadly, you may be right but I am going to make a push to get it together this summer.
