I just saw the announcement that next Superbowl's half-time entertainment will be The Who, which I have never seen in concert, on film, or on TV.

Lately, the quality of half-time entertainment has been top-notch in terms of bands: Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, and now the Who. I guess when the NFL is worth approx. $1Billion, they can afford a couple mil for some high cost name talents.

I was very happy to see the Who getting the spot. They are a fantastic band, and still put on a great show (saw them about 2 years ago in Yuba City, California).

And their demographics tell them that this is the type of entertainment the masses want.
do you mean "old"? Those bands were all old when I was young, and I did say WAS!

Even the NFL will eventually run out of 1960s bands to book, because they will finally all be dead.

Except for Keith Richards. He is immortal.
