maybe thats why everything has been happening around here. i've seen the owls out in early afternoon almost every day for a week now....

I never really see any owls in my area.

There is a small lake at the other end of my subdivision though that had some sort of really cool looking hawk hanging around for a while.

One evening when I had baby skunks living around my place one evening I heard something (owl or hawk not sure) screeching about midnight right outside my back patio door. I hit the flood light and saw the skunks around. I think the bird was trying to snatch a baby skunk.

I've heard you need to be careful regarding small dogs, etc when there is one of those types of birds in your area. I keep putting the wife's Pomeranian in the back yard but no luck yet.

we have numerous owls around here, but usually only hear or see them at dusk & in the early evening. it's been wierd seeing them in the early afternoon starting around 3pm. thats been going on for a month or so.
