Swapping Dist. Gear for Roller Cam

I am putting a roller cam in my 302 and have basically stock 289 reman. distributor with a pertronix upgrade. I pressed the stock gear off checked the shaft size with my caliper and came out to .443".

I need a steel gear for my Roller Cam and I one that .467" from Ford Racing, but obviously will not be a press fit. Any ideas? Is there a steel gear out there somewhere that is specifically for stock 289 Dizzy shafts?

.467 and .531 seem to be the sizes available for Fords.

You might need to buy a new distributor. :$$$

I did some poking around and I think I am going to go with the Duraspark from an 85 Mustang since the already has the steel gear on the M/T cars.
