T5 w/ bad 3rd gear

Hi all - I have a '65 289 3 speed coupe that I'd like to convert to a T5. I've been watching craigslist for awhile now and finally found one listed for $350. According to the tag ID listed it's out of a 1990 5.0L and the bell housing isn't included.

But it has a bad 3rd gear so I was wondering if the price is right or not. How much does a rebuild usually cost?

Sounds pretty steep for a core

Third and fourth gear both ride on the main shaft and are the most common failures. That t5 is just a core now.
