Won't do you any good. Send it to me and I'll cover your freight :beer It should fit without much modification in your 69. They require major surgery in the 65-6.

I have one in my 68. I had to use Ron Morris lowering motor mounts and fabricate a tranny crossmember. Really not that bad of a project. I didn't have to cut the trans tunnel at all. You will love that tranny. 5th gear is great for 55-65 and 6th is perfect for anything faster than that.

It may be cheaper to buy new than pay the shipping on this one.....

$1000 for 302 and the t56 that includes the shipping to u.k i simply couldn't refuse at that price now to build a killer stroker motor

See the link in my sig for some ideas for installing it in your car. That T56 is bolted to a 302, meaning its most likely an aftermarket T56. The OEM Ford T56 was only available on the 03-04 Mustang Cobras, which had a modular motor (different bellhousing bolt pattern). Since that is a cast bellhousing, the only source that I know of is D&D Performance based on the age of the transmission in the pics.

Is there a metal tag anywhere on the trans? This typically has the part number for the trans. The model you have shown is just the casing number, and is present on all T56 transmissions I believe.

To confirm the bellhousing is attached to a ford small block? What is the block casting #s on the block. How many splines are on the input and output shafts?

Since you are across the pond, things may be available over there that weren't over here.
