T56 ID Help

I'm looking to buy a used t56 and the guys says the trans if from an 03 Cobra. Tag numbers are TUET2019 H0531 00262

I can't seem to find info specifically about this tag (trying to determine gearing) Anyone familiar?

Thanks...guys says it pops out of 4th sometimes... sounds like rebuild is in order...

Oh does anyone know if you can use the Cobra Mustang Alum. Driveshaft with this conversion?

Seems I read it was too short, but he has that as well.
 
Until you get that gearbox mounted into position and then measure between the tail end of it and the rear end, I don't anyone can for sure say. I will say that odds of that driveline working for you is not good.
 
The Cobra is a TUET2060. I've never heard of a 2019 and it doesn't show up on any of the T56 tables with gearing. Might wanna give Tremec a call and see what its from.

Regarding the driveshaft, the Cobra driveshaft is 44.7" from center to center of u-joint. Assuming your motor is in the stock position and a Cobra T56 is used, you'll need a driveshaft that measures 47.75"

The T56 install is possible without hacking the tunnel and keep a good driveline angle, you just need to drop the motor.

The Cobra T56 has a 10 spline input shaft. I think that was the only one supplied with a 10 count.
