I took my carb off the car this afternoon and re-built it again. Great thing was that it ran just as good the second time as all the previous ones.

So for anyone wanting to re-build your carb, do it...it's sooo fun. Whether it needs it or not is irrelevant.
:pbj

I bet it runs better now. Wait...I'm getting a vision...last time....it STOPPED running. I'm glad to see you take your own advice...relevant or not.

I clean my carb about as often as I clean my ears: twice a week!

I've owned the tank for 18 years. Rebuilt the tri-power once at the 10 year point. I'm due anytime now.

As a rule I don't mess with 'em till they mess up.

I'm still trying to live that incident down...you just had to bring it back, didn't you?

This incident is from circa 2000...long before you were born, ol' man!

You can search for "Ace Venturi"...maybe...

It's possible that that version of the VMF database was lost. I'm hoping so!

Yeah it's gone unless there is an archive somewhere on the internet. 2001 was as far back as I could find Ace Venturi mentioned but that pic explains it all :lol :nk

lol it can happen to the best of us midlife but its better to never admit it happened, or in the first place dont let these guys know you will surely never live it down lol

Sheeet, it doesn't even have to happen to never live it down :eek:mg
