A guy walks out on the street to see a funeral procession moving slowly down the street. Strangely, there were two hearses in a row followed by a man with a dog. Following the man and a dog was a long line of men.
Curiosity got the best of him. He approached the man with the dog and asked what happened. The man explained that his dog had attacked and killed his wife. The guy asks, "what about the second hearse?" The man replies that his wife's mother, seeing the dog attacking, intervened to save her daughter... and she, too, was killed by the dog.
After an awkward moment of silence, the guy smiles and says, "Hey, how about letting me borrow your dog?" The man calmly points behind him and replies...."Get in line!"
