Dollars to donuts is IE 5 or 6. They do a TERRIBLE Job with Alpha channels(aka, the faded translucency around the image's borders).

IE 6 thru 8 do a horrible job...but IE 5 and 6 were an absolute disaster.

Internet Explorer versions 5 and 6 were REALLLLLY crap.

the blue "e" with a saturn ring around it. I don't know what version. How do you tell?

A better way to do it is to type google chrome in the google search bar, follow the link and click install.

Maybe a work computer - I hate IE, although IE8 is better. However, it's what I got on the company laptop, and no chance of changing it.

mine is a company laptop too but I can install chrome on the home laptops...

Chrome took me a little to get use to it. But im so glad i made the switch. Very easy to use, its just a little different.

I'm using Chrome on a laptop running Linux right now. This friggin thing is crazy fast! bj
