I served but made no sacrifice, Jimmy Carter was my C-in-C.

But many thanks to those that have served and made the ultimate sacrifice.

I make a point of thanking most everyone I see in uniform for their service to our country. I have never served but my Mom was in the Navy making blimps in WWll . She had some stories to tell of people she knew that never came back and what it felt like to fix up the aircraft after a battle.
Along with the fabrication work, she learned how to weld all kinds of material including aluminum and stainless steel while in the Navy. Her friends called her " Rosie the riveter " .
