Wasn't really paying attention to the weather, but I hear on the web radio that a tornado was spotted many miles NW of me. I'm not concerned, but I tuned into the local weather on the web and the guy says that a wall cloud was spotted just North of Council Grove. THAT did get my attention!
I get up from my desk and look outside and see swirling masses of clouds all around. I grabbed the track cam (since it's pretty useless now) and grab a couple videos. Video just doesn't capture the rotation and updrafts!
Looking NW from the front of the house.

Behind the house, looking SE.

Looked around and saw clouds going in all directions with huge updrafts and clouds just materializing and starting to spin. I went back inside and put a collar on the dog, just in case I needed to drag his a$$ down to the basement. After watching the swirling mass rotate all around the house for about 15 minutes, it finally moved off to the NE. Haven't seen weird weather like that in a few years. Thankfully nothing really came of it except a lot of hail and some rain.
