Snowing a tiny bit in Houston area this morning.

Weather report says we could see 1+ inches before the day is out, weather is supposed to get colder around mid-day.

I don't remember it snowing in my area since I was about 15 or 16 and I am 37 now so it's been a while.

The boys were easy to get up this morning...just turn on the weather report. However, much to their dismay their school was not closed.

Yeah, when it snowed here on Feb. 5, 1976 (yes I remember the exact date, it was my sister's birthday), we still had to go to school. The snow had all melted by lunchtime. :sad

Thats really cool. Maybe a White Christmas in Houston this year? Long shot but it would be really cool.

So glad I dont have to deal with Freezing Rain anymore. Yeesh

It snowed in Galveston of all places either on Christmas day or close to it a couple of years ago.

We didn't have any snow up my way this morning (about 35 miles north of Houston) but it's starting to come down pretty steady outside my window right now.

You know what they say when Hell freezes over...

Yep, that sums it up pretty well.

It is still snowing and has been for about an hour now but nothing accumulating yet. It does seem to be starting to snow harder however.

Isn't it StangFix policy that something doesn't happen unless there are pictures?

So where are the peek-chures of all this white stuff?

It was heavier down on Sluggo's side of town.

Up here it snowed on and off for a good part of the day but it would melt as soon as it landed so there really wasn't much to take a picture of.

I was planning to do a few things to the Mustang this evening but it's in the 30's now and suposed to be in the low to mid 20's in the a.m. Sure would be a lot warmer inside by the fire reading a book.

It was about the same in College Station today (1 hr north of Houston). It snowed off and on most of the day but no accumulation. It snowed here last year one day and we had about 3 inches on the ground. It was mostly melted by noon the next day.

I sure would like to work on the Mustang this weekend but don't know that I will since it is going to be cold.
