The "Drift" we didn't invent it, but we perfected it.........warning graphic!

That is the most gawdawful shart "music" I've ever had the displeasure of hearing. I hate it when people muck up an otherwise entertaining video.

I failed to see ANY power sliding, (or "drifting", if you gotta use that term). All I saw was a bunch of idiots doing induced skids that they couldn't control! While the "superman" at 10:45 takes the award for height (which I believe there's actually TWO people visible!), there's another at 2:20. He gets my vote for all around man about town....literally. After he tries his attempt at flight he kinda loses a wing. He's now know as "Lefty". If you look in the roadway you can see his "missing wing". eeewwwww :hide
 
they aren't drifting, that's how they drive! I've been over there. I was sitting in a restaurant eating and witnessed an accident. After that I started asking about this and they tell me it's quite common for the Saudi's to get killed in car accidents. I'm told that since the women can't drive the boys can start driving as early as 12. During ramadan they all fast (don't eat) and don't sleep so it is the month with the most car accidents. The plant I was visiting hosted a safety meeting with other plants in the area to try and focus on reducing accidents and the day they started there was a fatal accident outside the plant. I could tell you some stories but I think the video covers it pretty well

We are going about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan the wrong way. Send a few thousand Chevys and Chryslers to the Taliban & Al Queda with some Arab driving instructors and the insurgent problem will be solved in short order.

1. Apparently nobody has heard of seatbelts.......nobody....
2. What exactly were they trying to do? Doesn't look like racing or drifting or....or what? WTF?!
3. I know it's a compilation of failures but what's a success? Living? With all that open space in those countries and they pic streets with berms, ditches, street lamps, rocks, other F'N cars........I repeat....WTF?!

I know we do stupid stuff too but I just didn't understand the point. Were they trying to see who could "lose" control the best only to regain it?....at high speed? Seems like it was some sort of spectator sport but....
