Things that make you go "holy shart"

I was driving with a buddy in my '67 this afternoon when I did a double-take after seeing this:

index.php

Not the fact that it's a Corvair, but take a look at the license plate, and mine in front of it. The Corvair's a '65 according to the owner, so it must have been brought to CA in '67.

About 15 years ago I saw a red '67 Mustang with UXE 913.

I have an afinity for Corvairs. My parents had a 1962 Monza stationwagon that I rode in the back of from CA to South Dakota. I ended up trading that car to my next door neighbor for body work on my Mustang. He painted the car turquoise blue with a white top and the car presently resides in Phoenix. I learned to autox in a 1966 Monza with 4 one barrel carbs back in the late 70's. We also had a 65 Monza 2 door hardtop that my brother died in 100 yards from home as he hit a parked truck (fell asleep at the wheel) and ruptured his aorta against the wheel.

Well, some dork parked his Mustang in the middle of the street instead of next to the curb! What a bozo!

What are the odds you're gonna find a black plate so close in sequence in the same town on the same day? Cool.

Did you liberate the black plate from the Corvair? I would've done it.
