So after many days and weeks of deep thought, I've decided to pass on hosting an MBB this year. It seems as though while early on in the years the party was a rousing success, the last several years have seen a steady decline in participation. I know it can't be a big success every year, but it just feels like it's losing a little of it's draw. People may even be getting a little bored with the format. So, maybe taking a year or two off might be a good thing. It will give me a chance to re-think the event, and maybe come up with something different or more interesting. We'll see. But for now, we'll put MBB in the books and call it 7 good years!
Thanks Havok1 for hatching this idea with me way back when, and thanks to everyone who went out of their way to make a special trip to Myrtle Beach from all over the country to share in this event. 70Stangman, thank you too for participating while not participating. Those banners are killer! Hell, maybe a couple of other fixers will hatch a plan to party somewhere else! Till then, my friends.
