Friend of mine has a very similar Vette.

Sorry but I can't think of a single Vette of any year that I'd honestly care to own...they just don't "do it" for me. They drive nice but most of the years have been fugly as far as body style.

Well, I would put a split window Vet in my garage before a Trans Am........but I have nothing now so..........I will be quiet.

I'd put a broken down 66 Mustang in my garage before I'd put a running Trans Am in there.

Now that you mention it I haven't driven the Trans Am in a few days...might do so this evening. :steer

Initially I was gonna declare blasphemy! After reading that it's first owner was allegedly Neil Armstrong I'll withhold that declaration. :roll
 
Sorry but even though Neil once owned it, I heard another space junkie bought it afterwards. Now it's on sale. So its really not that big of a thing.
