I'm looking to connect the stock throttle arm on my 65 to an Edelbrock 1406 carb. Here are a few pictures of what I have..(ignore the dust)

Whats the best way of going about this? Would like something adjustable.
Thanks.

Here's what I have. IIRC, I bought it from TCP back around 2003. You

I did something similar back when I had a carb...now it's on sabrina's mustang. I bought a "kit" that had a piece of hollow aluminum tubing and two rod ends. I cut to length, and put a little bend in it 'bout like the stock rod, and threaded the ends for the rod ends.

Built my own on several cars... Located the ends at a local hardward store, threaded rod to fit, aluminum tubing cut after final length set and works as jam nut, small spacer used under washers on linkage holes to eliminate slop.......$15 and 30 mins.

I like this style ends as they are a bit more compact than some and give a cleaner look.

Bits & pieces from the Mcmaster-Carr site...

Built my own as well with parts from Graingers and Lowes.

+1

I just got some steel rod, threaded the ends and attached a couple heim joints. Cheap and simple.....just like me.
