Being a New Yorker at the time and seeing the devastation first-hand,
let's all pray that this Thursday: Sept 11th comes and goes without
any incidents. I still get teary-eyed when I see those buildings come down
Pray...and....Pray again. Thanks.

I will never forget that day - Pepperdine University places a flag on their grass area every year at this time for each person who lost their life during the attack. I get the pleasure of driving by this memory almost each and every work day. God Bless the USA!

Since my last visit in 2009 they have finished the Flight 93 Memorial. This is a pic of one of the signs at the memorial.

Had my aunt and uncle been home at the time they would have seen the black ball of smoke, they are less than 1.5 miles from the crash site. I will never forget that day.

Heard from a good source that the fighter planes are patrolling, troops have been seen being stationed & folks have been told not to send their children to school tomorrow in the NY/Mass. area. Is this normal or are they expecting something? Seems odd that obama is speaking on tv tonite about ISIS.

Might have something to do with the 11 commercial airliners in their possession.
Yeah that little tidbit hasn't been mentioned, at least to my knowledge, by the MSM for quite a while. I doubt most people are even aware. I can't see how it poses a threat to us domestically. How could they fly a commercial jet from the ME to here without radar detection? Now shorter range destinations might be plausible before anyone could detect, identify and counter.
