Looking good. What headers are you using? I'm on the fence on shorties or long tube for my 65 project.... Need to decide pretty soon!

JBA shorties for the 351W...

Between loathing power steering drop brackets and having an AOD I did not want to fight long tubes!

I can't wait to see the system complete with the tips for the dual exhaust valence and the H-pipe. The job is taking a long time but the work is beautiful. It is really tight with the cross brace, AOD, and AOD cross member.

The basis for the exhaust is the Magnaflow kit, but it is pretty modified in the front and there was no way for the x-pipe.

Good luck,
-Rory

I hope I have as much room as you when my AOD and exh. is in for good, looks like the exh. shop did a good job giving clearance, I'm sure it was tighter before they modded your kit. Too clean under there, hit the road and get some scars... :pbj

I was just getting ready to say that theres no way you'd fit an Xpipe, but you figured that one out already :craz Looking good by the way!!!

Looks like a nice, clean install. Keep an eye on the your axle vent tube and rear brake soft line for any interference issues with oyur drivers side tailpipe. While an X pipe may be difficult, there's a perfect spot for an H pipe just aft of the transmission crossmember.
