Tired of the cold and snow, I went out into the garage and

You'd never get that down your dirt road!

I've been brushing up on the layout at VIR because I've never been there before and I'm going for SAAC36. I've been watching this guy scream around - Mike Skeen: Ferrari F430 at VIR

Hope he isn't there when I am! He RIPS past everything, even the tow trucks!

Shaun, you'll love VIR. It's a heck of a track - challenging turns with great straitaways. It has huge room around the track in most areas, so hard to f'up too bad. Watch hog pen though, I've seen quite a few folks go off there and try to correct rather than going both feet down. The result is to bash the pit wall - worst I saw was a brand new M3 w/ ~3k miles on it. He went in pit road spinning and ping ponged down pit road. Total loss.

Oak tree is tough also, but very rewarding when you hit it right. Left bend for me was a throw away - I just hit the middle of the turn. If I tried a good apex, I could never set up for the exit (5) and get good speed into the snake /esses. But, I was drining a heavy old M5, a lighter mustang might hit it easy.

Damn, It's been nearly 5 years since I was on track. Mentioning VIR got the bug kicked back up. :confu

VIR is cool. I saw a brand new Audi TT over correct in the dip before oak tree and do an end over. Total loss there.

Well gee guys, thanks! I usually try to avoid the crash video's online but can't help myself usually!

My Dad is likely flying out from England to come with me. It'll only be his second time driving the car so he better not break it before I do!
