Made no difference in handling (with it off) improved ride quality.

I have 1 inch front, gr2s, export brace, 4.5 rear leafs, subframes, and borgeson power steering. I am running 225/50/16 Yokohama S Drives on 16 x 8 VR45s.
I think I am going to drop the control arms and add roller perches. I want to have a daily driver type ride with modern handling. I got this from researching this and the old site.

Any body think this is ok or have any other recommendations.

You are heading in the right direction with your approach. I would add subframe connectors if you have not already.

Looks like he already has sub frame's. Yes for roller perches as well as a roller idler arm.

I will check out that roller idler arm. I wasn't sure if that applied to me since I put the Borgeson setup on my car.

I do have subframes. Should I consider strut rods or any certain control arm?

could you expand on what you mean by improved ride quality? i wouldn't think a rear sway bar would have an impact on a car riding firm or soft on a straight section of road. maybe it would have an impact if one rear wheel hit a big bump.

A roller idler isn't going to give you much benefit on a p/s car. If your idler is shot, it's not a bad idea as an upgrade, but I don't know if I'd replace a good idler arm for one. That said, I love it on my m/s car.

Roller perches are a great upgrade, especially if you're already going to pull the front suspension apart.

My rsb had shackles around the leafs and urethane bushings which i always felt wouldn't benefit my ride quality. Seems like I read they introduce oversteer or something like that. I drove about 15 miles last night and noticed no handling difference, but the car did ride better. I installed it when i wa running my original 14 inch wheels and didn't have subframes.

Seems like I have read the roller perches made a ton of difference. I'm gonna order a set this week from opentracker. I' m thinking about dropping my control arms, and maybe even replacing my 620 coils with 480s. Seems like a lot of people run 480s now. I want it to ride really well. I'm taking a long road trip in it in March.

with the urethane bushings gone, there is a little less nvh coming through.

ok, thanks.

if nvh is your concern, i wouldn't think adjustable strut rods would be a good idea. they are solid mounted (the ones i have and seen). in theory they would improve response to vertical forces but horizontal forces would be transmitted to the frame (since there is no deflection in that axis with a solid system).

Thanks!
I just want the car to handle as well as possible with as close to the ride quality of a current mustang as I can get. My next step is the roller perches and relocation of the control arms. I may downgrade to 480# springs and better shocks as well. The strut rods will probably be down the road.
