Torq Thrust TTO's on a 65. Fitment questions

I'm looking for rims for my 65. I'd like to fill out the wheel wells as munch as possible. Right now I have my Magnum 500's under it from my 69. I like the look and fit and it appears everything will clear. The fronts are 15X7 with 235/60R15 and the rears are 15X8 with 245/60R15. Rear rims have 4.5" back spacing. I'll get better pics soon...

I like the looks of the Torq Thrusts TTO's but having trouble figuring out the size. Link to rims.. http://www.americanracing.com/browse_vintage.asp TTO (Series VN309)
I figured I have enough room to move the rears in another half inch to be safe for the 245s. (wheel lip rolled) So with the 8" magnums and 5" back spacing, things would be fine. The TTOs only come in a 8.5" with -24mm offset and I'm not sure that will fit. I know I could go down to the 15X7 with -6mm offset all the way around but would like to have the bigger rims in the rear. Can anyone tell me for sure the 8.5s in the rear wont work without further modification? I'm running mid-eye leafs in the rear and want to keep a lowered stance. This is my first go at figuring out rims and fitment issues so I could use some guidance from the experts..
