trans vacuum connection ?

on my 69 mach 1 351w c4 auto the trans vac pipe from modulator on trans is connected the the front lower vac port on holley 600 4 brl carb just under the front float bowl,is this the right place to connect? the power servo is connected to a single fitting into the rear of intake.
 
From the factory.... your transmission modulator vacuum is normally pulled from a port on the rear of the intake (manifold vacuum). I suppose if the carb port you are using is MANIFOLD vacuum it shouldn't make much difference... just make sure that is in fact a manifold vacuum port.
