Transformers 3 - Bumblebee goes crunch!

They'll bring him back as a Chevy Volt. Too bad he'll only be able to fight for an hour or two, then have to recharge overnight.
 
Cool...glad no one was hurt. Notice the SUV looks like minimal damage versus the front end pretty well wiped put on th Camaro.
 
I thought they blocked off the streets around the shoot.........Guess not. ( they will probably write the cop car into the movie now, no sense wasting such a good smack)
 
They definitely block off the streets when shooting in public. For crying out loud, you think they want some whacko nutball Transformer fan driving his car into the middle of a scene? Something fishy here. Barricades or caution tape are the norm. With all the publicity around them shooting in the area and the amount of police that they use for protection and traffic management, the whole department would have been aware. Hmmm...
Cool shot though...
 
From what I can tell the cop thought he was above the law and simply cut through the scene.

Wouldn't be surprised if he got fired. The expense to fix the Camaro is the least of his concerns. If they plan to be shooting all day then there is all kinds of costs that probably went to waste since the main character was down for the count.
