need to get from Boston Harbor to Andover. I don't wish to get a car for this 1/2 day visit. Anyone have recommendations? according yo yahoo maps it's about 23 miles. subway, train, ? thanks....

thanks Mark. None available near Boston - taxes on them too high. Appreciate the thoughtfulness tho.

23 miles on Boston suberb roads = a probable hour long drive that'll weave you around in at least two circles before arriving at your destination. Understand that most of those roads were first built for the horse and buggy and don't necessarily travel in anything resembling a straight line. When was the laast tiime you were driving down the road and came upon a "rotary"? Expect to see at least one along the way. These are leftover from back before electricity/stoplights/modern intersections and are still widely used in the northeast.

If you're dead set against a rental, you may just want to take a cab.
