TTII wheel center adapter sleeve ?????

B67FSTB

The NorCal dude from Belgium
I noticed that the center hole of my Torq Thrust II wheels are too large regarding the center diameter of my spindles.
I know this fit has to be perfect because the load of the car has to be on this " connection"/ " joint " instead of the five studs like it is n now.

The diameter of the spindles center is about 2.5 inch.
The opening of the TTII centers are about 2 7/8 inch.

Anybody familiar with this situation/problem ??

I can't find anything on AmericanRacing website , just a few on Summitt's website.

Any help would be welcome.

Thx guys.

I believe the studs hold the weight. Numerous vehicles I have seen have a gap between the factory wheel center opening and the spindle hub. The newer cars use a "hub centric" setup. That means the wheel is centered by the fit on the hub and older wheels are centered by the taper fit on the lug nuts.

I also had this same concern. I talked to the tech dept at Eibach, not that they write the rules, but he said the majority of aftermarket wheels are not hubcentric and lug centering is just fine. Once the lugnuts are tight, the clamping force prevents any side load on the lugs. Plenty of companies also make hubcentric rings to take up the gap and better center the wheel.

Which companies ?? Any idea ?

Google "hubcentric rings" and you'll find them. Also check eBay, I found many in there too.

Those rings most likely will not fit "tight" since a lug centric wheel must be able to align using the fit of the lug.

I just bought new set of TT2's. I have 70 model with discs up front and SSBC discs on rear. THe front discs are faactiory, no ring. The SSBC rootrs have hub ring. Need to look at fronts more closely now.
