TV sound bars

Want to buy a sound bar for my 55 inch TV, any suggestions...I was looking at the bose bar for about $360 bucks, sound bars range in price from $100 to a Bazzilion dollars, I am confused.

I third the recommendation of Bose products. I have their surround sound speakers with the subwoofer and a Yamaha surround sound receiver and it sounds great!

My recommendation would be to either simply stick with the TV regular sound or to go with a full 5 or 7.1 surround sound system. I've never listened to a sound bar that was worth the price and considering you end up doing all the same things (running wires to/from tv) figuring out remote control configurations, etc. as a real surround sound setup with the exception of running rear speaker wires.....I will take that slightly extra effort any day of the week for the improved sound.

Same here...I might add a sound bar but I sure wouldn't get rid of my 7.1 ( you just can't replicate that room-filling-sound )
