Two Lane Blacktop (1971) - Movie

I remember purchasing ARRCO gas in Fresno for 19.9cents per gal during a price war. I believe the average price was in the 29.9 cents per gal range. :beer

yes it was used in the 66 shown below.
 
They sure don't make movie's like they use to, thank god. :char
I noticed $.41 at one of the filling stations.

I believe that was the going price in the Fresno area. there was a rather big gas war where ARCO dropped to 19.9, The reason why I remember I worked for Chevron Chemical and thought that I had to be loyal to Chevron, but when the gas dropped to 2/3 the price of Chevron I broke and got an ARCO card.
 
I worked at an Arco station back in 71 here in ohio while I was in high school. I some what remember the price being about 34 cents.
 
Around the :30 mark, I saw a pump which I believe had $5+ along the top and 16+ gallons underneath. Did the math..
