under dash wiring help..

67 fastback, I'm assuming this is for the under dash seat belt warning light, how come it's hooked up to a flasher

no not a buzzard, wagner 224 Flasher, should it not be a relay to keep the light on for 5 seconds or what ever.

Should not be plugged into a flasher can, but to a seat belt relay. The original connector is the same as a molded plastic two-prong flasher can plug, which may be why someone thought to use a flasher can.

Thanks, under my dash in the coupe I see the relay the seatbelt warning light hooks up to, it doesn't look like a flasher, but in the fastback it does look like a flasher .
