Why is it every time you work on a rusty car, you find more that needs addressed. I thought I was past that stage and started to make good progress. I thought I would work on the trunk area as I have been on the front end for months now.
Well, I initially thought I would just need to replace the outer wheel house, trunk drop off/floor, and then the quarter. Nope, I need to at least patch the inner and also the rear trunk brace is swiss. So, I sat down and came up with another sheetmetal shopping list.
Here's the new list. Good thing sheetmetal for these cars are cheap.
1.) TAIL LIGHT PANEL
2.) QUARTER PANEL BRACKET PASSENGER SIDE FASTBACK
3.) LH and RH WHEELHOUSE INNER
4.) LH QUARTER PANEL SKIN WITH ORNAMENT HOLES
5.) TORQUE BOX left rear upper
6.) LH and RH SEAT PLATFORM
7.) FIREWALL left partial outer
8.) RH and LH TRUNK BRACKET
9.) TRUNK BRACE rear
Some of these items I already knew I needed. I just been putting them off, but for the most part, this is a new to me discovery.
