Update On My Missing Cat

My wonderful cat, Karma, has now been missing for two weeks. My neighbors and I have found no trace of her and I've had no response from all the fliers I posted. I've always known she was gone, and now I have to accept it. I am still heartbroken over her loss. She was very special.

Today, I adopted another kitten. She's almost four months old and I got her from a shelter. When she was very young, she had been found abandoned in a tire at an auto supply store, so I've named her "Lugnut." She's mostly a Russian Blue with some tortoiseshell markings. She's feisty, and is hissing at my dog, who thinks she's Karma, who she has been missing. When she gets bigger, they'll be great playmates. Lugnut is a purring machine and is busy exploring the house right now.

So sorry.

Nice you found another....but no pics??????????????? Cool name.

She won't sit still long enough! I'll get some and post this weekend.

I was wondering about this but didn't want to ask.....soooo, have you got the kitten fitted for a life vest on your boat yet ??

That is both good and bad....I am both happy and sad.....

Two of my favorite movie quotes! Very appropriate, don't you think?

I still think you should be questioning Mike and asking about kitty punting!!!!!

I saw a coyote two streets away the other night. I don't even want to think about what happened to Karma.

I am very sorry to hear about Karma. I am glad to hear that you chose the shelter for your next companion. Right now we have a family of 5 kittens that we are fostering. They were all one pound and about 4 to 5 weeks old when we got them. When they get up to 2 pounds they go back to the shelter looking for another person like to you adopt them. 2 orange tabby boys and 3 calico girls.

All of my pets have all come from shelters or rescue organizations, except for one kitten that was dumped in our garage and one that I rescued off the streets. I believe it's the thing to do. And, they have all been spayed or neutered.

Lugnut is amazingly loving! She's starting to get used to Cheyenne, too.

Sorry to hear the news about Karma, but glad to see another one rescued. Lugnut is a GREAT name!

You know the rules!

Sorry about Karma. I know that feeling of loss well. My 5yr old little toy poodle Dixie disappeared when we moved to Texas. I did everything I could to find her.. flyers, ad in the newspaper, walking around everywhere. I even called groomers every month for 6 months asking if they had any new black toy poodle clients. Finally decided to give up and realized she was gone. A 5lb toy poodle in a small Texas country town surrounded by woods/predators and highways.... :hide Its been 2 yrs and I still miss Dixie. I'll never forget her. I have another little black toy poodle now named Raine. I prefer to think that someone found Dixie and just didn't want to do the right thing and give her back. Maybe someone did that with Karma. They found her and fell instantly in love and decided to keep her despite your attempts to get her back.

LOL, I'm still trying to get a picture of her but she won't sit still now. The kittie spirits have hit. She's almost ready to play with my border collie now. If I could only keep her off my laptop keyboard!

Let the kitty type, I'd bet she'd spell better than Mel :yah

She's crashed the screen twice and once she hit something that I had to start over because I lost all tabs at the top.
