Upgrading my steering

I've been thinking about upgrading my steering from manual (with a PS box) back to power steering. But I bit the bullet and going to rack and pinion. I just got off the phone with Total Control Products and ordered they're power rack. Hopefully, the wife will be able to pick it up tomorrow, when she's in Sacto.

So, any of you "Nor-Cal" members want to come up to the real northern part of the state and help me install it?

I'll post some pics when I have it in my hands....

No, Alturas is the true "no man's land". My dad, in his infinite wisdom, bought a piece of land in Alturas ages ago and now it's mine. Truly a white elephant.

Why would anyone want to live in the far corner of California. You could live in Oregon or Nevada instead, both less than an hour away. :shrug

The brown truck dropped off some parts today. :steer

There's lots and lots of small boxes of parts out in the shop...I know what I'm gonna be doing for quite a while. :thu

I'd guess putting in your new steering rack after you stop the new parts giggling.
