Very good friend in bad bike wreck--

It happened a week ago Friday--went off the road--through a fence--busted up bad, had a massive stroke while in icu--50 years old. on ventilator, I worked for his dad at a Ford dealership for 17 years, I was best man at his wedding 25 years ago, I went in and saw him last night (I was out of town for a week) they are planning on discontinuing life support soon ---gonna be a tough week.
 
Very sorry to hear of this, especially if they are going to pull the plug on him.
 
I am also sorry to hear about your friend. Thoughts and prayers from the left coast.

They are planning to do that this week-not an easy task, both mentally and legally!--his 2 boys (21&23) made that choice yesterday--This guy was full of life, loud, original party animal, 6'5, jet black hair, womanizer, he was a journeyman lineman-he followed storm damage across the country. He came by my house a while back in a bucket truck looking to see if I needed my outside night light pole replaced, he noticed a wire problem at my transformer and rewired it for me--he was in another companies truck fixing a wiring problem on another companies line and never gave a thought that he would be fired if he was caught--he played by his own rules--very outspoken. he, his brother and I deer hunted together for many years, great memories, gonna miss him and gonna be a tough service.--I am tearing up writing this---

hate to hear that... my son (22) showed up here on friday on a brand new crotch rocket. worries the crap outta me. i've painted way too many bikes that were totaled out in wrecks a short time later.
