Vintage Racing Questions

Im interesting in racing my 69 Coupe when Im done building it and I have a few questions regarding whats allowed and whats not. Does the car have to have orginal suspension design, original motor, stuff like that.

Also what racing organizations offer it. I live in NJ and was wondering if the SCCA or anything like it offers vintage racing on the east coast.

Hope someone can help me out on this. Just wana know whats allowed before I put something on the car I cant have.

Do you want to "race" or just open track it? There are vintage clubs all across the U.S., you just have to find the one that's close to you and contact them. You'll want to get their rules and build the car by them.

CVAR, which is in the Heartland area has a good group of people. You can read their rules Here
