Adventures in doctorland again. These guys need to drop the rock star attitude. Appointment at 10:30am and told to show up at least a half hour early to fill out forms and paperwork.Fill out everything by 10:30 and wait about 15 minutes for Dr..Sit down with the doctor and talk about 5 minutes. I start asking about tests and he asks "What kind of tests?". I say cat scan and mri. This is where I got confused. He said "I don't know if I'm taking you on as a patient yet,so I'm not going to schedule anything like that yet". Ok,Do you at least want me to have any type of bloodwork done? His reply was the exact same reply to my questions about the scans. Ok,You must see clear sailing from my medical records from my other drs then. I'm not going to answer that because your really not my patient yet. I stood up and just said that I should get my copay back because he really didn't do anything but waste my time and I don't think I should have to pay anything if I'm not a patient yet.Sorry,no refunds. Ok.I got up and left. When I got home there was a message on the machine to call this number about a survey about your visit to his office. Needless to say,He didn't rate very high. Endocrinologist thought I was kidding when I told her about this. She suggested that I set an appointment with a neurologist instead of a surgeon for now and wants me to talk to my family doctor about it. Which I'll do today at the new family doctor as I'm switching out doctors as the gp I was going to was the one who suggested this pair of clown shoes.
