VW Parts needed

Helping a friend on a '74 VW Super Beetle. The parts needed are not reproduced as far as we can tell. What is needed is the front seat adjustment mechanism. This is what you pull to adjust the seat back and forth.

We have the lever that is mounted on the center hump.

We need the springs that assist in the seat movement and the arm, spring, and pin that go from the lever to the seat mounting bracket at the center of the seat. I am told this is specific to '73 and up SUper Beetles.

If you have a salvage yard nearby that has VW's, could you check on availability and cost please. If they have it, I can deal direct over the phone.

If I cannot find the parts, If someone has the model VW, I could use a picture of the items and how they attach so I can reproduce the parts.

Not sure what year this VW is, but if it looks like one that works for you, I can go back and take out what you need. I found it while I was hiking and checked it out, the interior seemed unmolested.

Let me know.
 
Nope. To old. Need one at least with the close 4 lug pattern. That one is mid 60's or earlier. Thanks.
 
We have a call in to them with no results yet. They even said we might look at other yards as that part does not show up much. Thanks.
 
send him to Brazil, they are everywhere here. I think they made them up into the 90's. They still make the vans. There are so many they even leave them lying around...
