Washer and/or sealant?

Would a crushed washer go between the threaded fitting shown and the body of the Holley DP? There isn't too much threads on this fitting so my initial guess is to just seal the threads. The fuel rail and it's fitting threads into this questioned fitting.

My new Holley has a thin washer there. The part which threads into the fuel bowl on mine looks a little different. The gap between the fitting and fuel bowl on mine is smaller than yours appears to be.

Sorry, that fitting is very loose. I can hand tighten it all the way until the shoulder touches the carb. So maybe real thin copper washer?

The style on my carb is not copper. It is a thin metal washer with a small amount of rubber on each side. Looks very similar to the type washer which goes underneath the accelerator pump nozzle. See the attached picture.

Yes,
I just called my engine builder who confirms what you are saying. I'm going to go over to his place and pick a couple of these washers up.

Thanks
